Motorbiking round California
In 2009 I managed to persuade the missus to hop on a plane and travel around California on a Harley- it was our 20th wedding anniversary. We flew to San Fransisco and picked up our Harleys from Scott and Ilene at https://californiamotorcycleadventures.com. They picked us up from the airport hotel and kitted us out with panniers, rear bags and couple of great looking Harleys and off we went.
We headed north over the Golden gate bridge towards the wine regions of Napa and Sonoma, through Russian river valley and over to Lake Tahoe, via Georgetown and ‘Uncle Toms Cabin’. At six thousand feet, this little bar is an oasis in the middle of nowhere with a great atmosphere and stunning views. Here’s the Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/UTCabin/. These are some of the pics we took along the way. If you want to do this yourself and need any guidance please email us on firstname.lastname@example.org and we’ll be glad to offer any advice we can.
