Colorado Bike trip 2011

Following on from our inaugural bike trip in 2009 to California and our subsequent Pyrenees trip in 2010, we embarked on our last ( for now) venture across the pond to Colorado and South Dakota ( for the Sturgis rally)… It didn’t disappoint. We flew to Denver with our friends Chris and Jill, picked up a couple of harleys (heritage softails) from www.eaglerider.com/denver, who were excellent with their service and headed out towards Estes park and up through the Rockies. The scenery was spectacular.

We carried on towards Casper where we stayed at an amazing B&B http://www.sunburst-lodge.com, and then towards the black hills of South Dakota where we stayed at an old railway station ( now a B&B) http://www.hisegalodge.net. A trip to Mount Rushmore is a must and ‘Badlands’ about an hours ride east is a great day out. The Sturgis rally (part 2 pf the gallery,) http://www.sturgismotorcyclerally.com, should be on every bikers’ ( weekend or proper) bucket list. Her are a few pics from the trip…

We are now in…..

Denia, Spain
