‘Dave’ the drone finally takes off

Well, it finally happened. Dave finally got off the ground, took off the beginners tag and flew. Having spent the last 9 weeks in his box, well apart from a coupe of outings below the tree line in Los Pinos camping in Denia and an afternoon trial in Águilas, he was ready. This is just a short clip but I’m hoping to bring you some stonkin aerial footage of Europe’s most spectacular scenery as we meander along the many roads less travelled in the coming months ahead.

      Has stayed mainly in his box Ian due to a combo of bad weather, more bad weather, spanish flying laws and me wanting to build up my flying skills before I took it off beginners mode. lol. Anyway it’s a start. Watching tutorial videos as I go so should get better.

    Great for seeing what’s happening atop our yet to be bought motorhome. That’s why my missus decided to buy one. I pointed to the ladder on the back.

      Already used it for that purpose Chris but agree a ladder is easier on the pocket. I’m sure you’ll get better use out of it though, lol
