As recommendations go this one was a belter. If you’re ever darn sarf in Italy check this place out. Think Clovelly in Devon and you won’t be far off. We really enjoyed our afternoon.

Hi Myles, Can you tell me which site you stayed at when visiting Alberobello. I have looked at a couple of sites nearby but they don’t look that great. Thanks.
P.S. We are friends of Andrea and Paul who we met at Pinar San Jose.
Kind regards,
Ann and Mark
Hi Ann and Mark, thanks for getting in touch. We are currently staying at the Sosta right in the town, which is about five minutes walk to the Trulli Zone. It’s a lovely laid out ‘car park’ which has services and a good 30 pitches amidst the olive groves. It’s €18 for 24hrs. Although they say no camping behaviour, we had our chairs out yesterday without any complaints. Here’s the link with the co-ordinates on Search for Sites. https://www.searchforsites.co.uk/marker.php?id=12060 Enjoy this area guys as it’s just the most special region of Italy, aside of Tuscany. Look up Matera too, which is only an hour away, that is a sight to behold too. Happy travels. About to meet up with Andi and Paul when we begin our Greek Odyssey. Sail tonight!! Just a little excited. Karen x
