Don’t normally do campsite reviews as they are so subjective but nestled in the Tuscan hills is a little gem. Il Colono agritourism campsite that has space for only 6 Motorhomes as well as a few tents lies 2km north of Pomerance on the road to Volterra is a beauty. With a view of the rolling tuscan hillside it has great facilities including good WIFI and a brand new shower block ( 2016) delivers a hot pressure wash without having to press the button every 10 seconds to eep the water going. We stayed for a week in late October and were the only ones there. A lovely sleepy spot.
