Romania

From Bulgaria’s Black sea coast, we entered Romania and headed straight for the Danube delta, a wonderful labyrinth of waterways right at the end of the danube. From there we headed north to visit the painted monasteries, across the prislop pass to the Mocanita railway, down to Brashov and Bucharest before heading over to Transylvannia. Of course we did the Transvaragarasan and Alpine passes together with visits to Sibiu and Sighisoara ( Vlad the Impalers birth place) en route. All in all, what a month. Romania is a must.
