Ah, The bay of Biscay
It helps when you’ve got friends wiv boats. It also helps when they live in the South of France and it also helps when the weather changes for the better on the only day available during your visit to them. ‘Lets go fishing’.

As we exit a three week period of ‘self inflicted’ driving frenzy it’s time to reflect. ‘We are freekin stuffed….’. No time for campsite reviews, videos (well, managed a couple), blogs, map routing let alone cleaning poor old Scoobie. Don’t get me wrong, we have done essential repairs, met long lost friends and had a blast on the waves, been up the highest sand dune in Europe and have seen bottle of wine with a €1300 price tag. All our hosts bar none have been fab and we thank you all but maybe we should have paced ourselves a bit more. Note to self: Slow the feck down, Europe will still be here next year.
Tea for tonight? Frey Bentos… French Style.. cos we just can’t be bothered to cook…
