“Books are the mirrors of the soul.” Virginia Woolf.

Back in my corporate days I was a frustrated poet, restricted by the pressure of running a house and two businesses. However in those precious moments where I found the space to write, it felt like the words were being downloaded from somewhere else. And I had no words to articulate where that place was.

So when we hit the road, we created a life that had space for us to grow into. A space for my creativity to flourish. I started to write blogs, design ebooks and write for the popular Practical Motorhome magazine. This was a fabulous start.

But a book was in popular demand by our Social Media followers. They loved my writing style and wanted more. So during Covid we starting writing The Book. But it lost its way and disappeared.

During a moment of serendipidy we met a publisher, an author and a book designer all in the space of a month. The stars were aligned and I found myself writing a book – one that mirrors my soul. And here in this space you will be able to follow the progress of the books we publish. Plus you can buy them from the links here that will take you straight to Amazon for a print on demand service.

I loved this book. I know Karen and Myles, but this book for me shows a journey of what is possible in life. Being true to ourselves and having the courage to delve deeper into what that looks like.

This is the most brilliant book if you are already a van lifer. If you are someone who is curious about what life can look like. And for anyone who wants to travel, there are travel stories, but there is also the evolution through the journey that they’ve been on.

I cried at the end because I saw the growth through the words and I’m honoured to have had the chance to read this and highly recommend that you read it too.

This is a beautifully written book that brings you on a journey from corporate boardrooms to independent life on the road.

Karen and Myles have a fascinating story to tell about their personal transformations from busy jobs to full-time travel in an RV for over a decade. The book helps you reflect on life priorities while understanding the realities of full-time travel – and – laughing a little in the process.

Definitely recommended for anyone thinking of making major life changes, including extensive travel.

Heels, Wellies and Flip Flops

This, my inaugral book is a reflective look and celebration of our ten years on the road — but not in a typical ‘where we went’ kind of way.

It’s really about what sat beneath it all — why we felt the need to change in the first place, and how that change unfolded within us and around us.

On the surface it might look like a travel story, but it isn’t really about travel. It’s about realising that change is possible — through the small choices we make over time — until we create a life that finally fits.

And for some people, it might just prompt a few questions of their own.
